About this experience
Motiongate is the ride park of Dubai Parks and Resorts: Madagascar, Kung Fu Panda, Shrek and How to Train Your Dragon in a fully indoor DreamWorks zone, plus Hotel Transylvania, Ghostbusters and the Hunger Games outdoors. Its coasters are the biggest in the country, including the Capitol Bullet Train and the record-length Now You See Me launch coaster.
It sits 35 to 45 minutes south of Downtown next to Legoland, so combine tickets are common. Half the park is indoors, which makes it workable in summer, but outdoor sections are best before noon or after 4 pm. Allow a full day.
